Jalan Kalo Ujung, RT 16/07, Tomang Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta residents want to re-activate biogas system in their residential. Besides of cost-effective, biogas is also an eco-friendly alternative energy.

RW 07 Head, Edward P. Simanjuntak, said this biogas was made by residents themselves (non-governmental). Biogas output is used for residents fertilizer. Half of it is sold by Karang Taruna for the organization funds.

"While the gas is used by RW group such as lighting. For all this time, we are constrained by maintenance cost, so we just clean it up," he expressed, Saturday (2/25).
Responding to this matter, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Head, Achmad Sadjidin, will discuss the continuing biogas system.
